Her attention to detail means her work incorporates subtle but important features that highlight each individual character’s personality. Texture, movement, colour and open discussion with other departments in order to create the right visual for the story.

Barbara has an extensive portfolio, from period to contemporary projects. Some of her last credits as a designer are; The popular ITV series Grace (series 3) starring John Simm, African Queens for Netflix, FBI: International for CBS and the upcoming film The Trouble with Jessica starring Indira Varma, Rufus Sewel, Olivia Williams and Alan Tudyk.

Originally from Spain and now based in London, Barbara has enjoyed the opportunity of working with and creating strong teams around the world throughout her career. She has extensive experience filming in countries such as Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Georgia, Morocco and Spain.

Barbara is a graduate from the University of the Arts London (with two degrees from London College of Fashion and Wimbledon College of Arts) and is a voting member of Bafta.
